Duration: 11 days
This intensive course will provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform the tasks of a dive instructor and will prepare you to successfully complete the instructor exam. You will learn how to organize and teach the Basic Diver, Scuba Diver, Open Water Diver, Advanced Adventurer, Diver Stress & Rescue, Enriched Air Diver and Dive Guide courses. In addition, as an SSI Open Water Instructor allows you to become a Specialty Instructor for all specialty courses that are available in the SSI educational system.
Requirements
- Minimum age 18 years
- Minimum of 100 logged dives that add up to a total of at least 65 hours
- Meet the following administrative requirements up to date: medical certificate that is less than one year old; Documentation of cpr-, first aid and oxygen provider training that is less than two years old; accident and civil liability insurance
- Your own complete diving equipment, including dive computer, compass and buoy (you get a discount if you buy equipment from us)
- SSI Divemaster certificate and SSI Enriched Air Nitrox 40 certificate or equivalent from another acknowledged diving agency

9 full days + 2 examination days (IE)
