The most popular diving course in the world is the Open Water Diver. But what if you don’t have enough time and want to get a diving degree? The SCUBA DIVER only takes half the time that the OWD course requires. A few exercises in the pool and 2 dives in the open sea will give you the basic knowledge and skills that you need to dive. With this certificate you will be able to dive all over the world, if you are accompanied by a professional, and your maximum depth will be 12 meters. On another occasion, you can do the second part and complete the OWD certificate. Unlike the Basic Diver, this is an internationally acknowledged title and does not expire.

Requirements (that you have to meet)
- You are able to swim and feel comfortable in the water
- Minimum age of 12 years
- Good health (a responsible statement of your own health or a medical certificate, proving that you are fit to dive, is required)
- Swimsuit and towel
- You cannot fly the same day after taking part in the activity

Friendly, professional staff and a fantastic experience
I did my PADI open water here a couple of weeks ago. All the staff were absolutely brilliant, explained everything really well and made me feel very comfortable and at ease at every stage of the course. Visited some lovely dive sites and saw lots of different wildlife. If we come back to Fuerteventura in the future, we will certainly be back.
