In front of the dunes of Corralejo is “El Caserón”- a band of broken stones at the bottom of the sea which runs from north to south. Being the only rock formation in the middle of a large sandy area, the rocks and their ledges and cracks offer a hiding place for many animals. Shi drums, dusky groupers, electric rays and moray eels are a few of the many species that can be seen here. There are often bogues in the crystal clear blue water and frequently you can see amberjacks and barracudas enjoying their big feast here. With a depth of only 18 to 20 m, this dive is accessible to divers of almost all levels.
