Las Anclas dive site

General description

At this dive site we descend to 18 m to reach the platform from where a wall drops to 25 m. It is called “Las Anclas” because of the huge and ancient anchors that we find along our way. Dusky groupers, tuna and large shoals of sardines lead us there. There are often stingrays under the rocks and between the cracks we can find different types of moray eels, scorpionfish and crabs. This is a dive for advanced divers. We recommend using Nitrox here. If you dive here with Nitrox, you can stay underwater up to 25 minutes longer than with air.
