Duration: 3 to 4 weeks
The Dive Master is the certificate you receive after completing the Dive Guide and Science of Diving courses. After you have finished these two courses, you will have the necessary skills and knowledge to work as a diving professional. During the training you will learn how to assist instructors in introductory and continuing education courses, as well as organize, plan and execute dives with certified divers. At the same time you will have the opportunity to live the day-to-day life at a diving center, to learn everything that the organization of diving activities entails and much more. Once you are a Dive Master, you can also get a training to teach Marine Ecology courses and you can sign up for the Assistant Instructor or the Instructor Training Course.
Requirements
- Minimum age 18 years
- Minimum of 60 logged dives that add up to a total of at least 40 hours
- Meet the following administrative requirements up to date: medical certificate that is less than one year old; Documentation of cpr-, first aid and oxygen provider training that is less than two years old; accident and civil liability insurance
- Your own diving mask, dive computer, compass and buoy (you get a discount if you buy equipment from us)
- Certificates required: Deep Diving, Navigation and Night & Limited Visibility or 5 logged dives for each of these specialties
